The first 1% here shows the prices of the 40% of the company's shares that we are selling. The others are reserved for us (isn't that obvious X?).

This only accounts for the price of that share, not the sum of shares to that percentage.

For example, the 1.0% of shares costs £1.35 by itself. The sum of that entire 1 % totals to around £10.
